A Message From Your Superintendent…
I would like to welcome everyone back to the 2016-2017 school year. Much planning occurred over the past year and summer as we continue to strive forward to being the best school district in the region.
Like all organizations, schools experience strategic change. The Lowellville Local School District offers its students and parents a personalized education with a wide-range of courses and college classes. Also, with our 100% highly qualified teaching staff and educational leaders, your child will experience the excitement of learning while instilling the values provided through personal interaction and relationships. Furthermore, our multitude of extra-curricular activities will ensure that you and your child becomes actively engaged in the school community that graduated generations with a track record of success.
On August 22, 2016, the students will return to school. Classical philosopher Plato once said, "Do not train children to learning by force and harshness, but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that you may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius of each." At Lowellville, our commitment to developing the perfect triangle of relationships (Student-Teacher-Parent) will allow students to receive the motivation to achieve and aspire with confidence to great heights!
Have a tremendous school year as we continue the tradition of the Lowellville Rockets and remember the lines of the popular lyrist John Lennon, “We all shine on...like the moon and the stars and the sun...we all shine on...come on and on and on...” and remember, IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A ROCKET!
