It’s hard to believe we are close to the end of our school year! We’ve had a very busy month in kindergarten. We enjoyed learning about bugs, chicks, and other animals that hatch from eggs. We also studied seeds and how different plants grow. In honor of Earth Day, we are learning different ways that we could help our earth such as recycling. In math, we have been working on number bonds, making equal groups, and place value. We are continuing to practice our sight words and are working hard in our guided reading groups. We are becoming better readers each day!
We had a great time on our field trip to the Oh Wow! Children’s Museum. The students really enjoyed exploring all the interactive exhibits. They especially liked playing with the sand and water tables, many building materials, and pretending to be weather reporters on TV!
Happy Birthday to Jack Miner whose birthday is on April 18th!
