  • Thank you to Samantha Shumaker’s step brother, Louis, for visiting our classroom as her Spotlight Student guest.  Reporter Isabella LaMont informs us that he plays the guitar and played and sang us a song he made up called Can We Meet Up. Reporter Gianna Palumbo adds that he wrote his first song when he was only 17 years old! Also he has had his guitar now for 15 years. Reporter Sydney Procick reports that he also played us a song called Adam’s Song from the band Blink82 and he even let us take turns playing our own tunes on the guitar. Reporter Josh Kelly says Louis was in a band when he was 14 years old.  WOW!! Thank you for a fun visit!!!!!!!

3Catch The Latest Third Grade News!!!!

                                               March 9, 2018

  • Thank you to our recent Spotlight Students.  Sydney Procick invited her mom in on Dr. Seuss’s birthday last Friday.  To celebrate his special day and Sydney,  Mrs. Procick did a craft with the students.  Each student made a Thing 1 bookmark, complete with feathered blue hair and google eyes.  Each student also received a bag of materials to craft Thing 2 at home.  After learning more about Sydney from mom, the students were treated to an adorable Cat in the Hat treat on a stick made out of marshmallows and a fruit roll up that totally resembled the Cat’s hat.    Thank you for a wonderful visit.

We also learned a little bit more about this week’s Spotlight Student, Nate Rouns.  His favorite foods are chicken and pizza.  His favorite season is  Summer. Orange is his favorite color and he has a pet pig named Wilbur! Nate’s talents are singing and basketball.  He told us a joke – Why can’t you give Elsa a balloon?  Because she will “Let it Go!”  smileysmileysmiley
