I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from John Carroll University. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Youngstown State. My teaching certification is for Adolescents/Young Adults in Integrated Language Arts for grades 7-12. I also completed my Master's degree in School Counseling from Westminster and am a certified School Counselor in both Ohio and Pennsylvania.
My husband, E.J., and I have one daughter, Anna, and another baby on the way! We also have a 4 year old goldendoodle named Lucy. Two years ago, Lucy passed her initial Therapy Certification Test through Pet Partners, and last month she passed her two year retest. I put a lot of time and effort into her training, so I am thriled! Lucy and I volunteer around the area through K9's for Compassion at nursing homes, libraries, and school events.
