Hello! My name is Mrs. O'Neill. I am Lowellville Elementary School's newest School Counselor.  I'm so excited to be in this new position and look forward to working with all of the students, parents, and staff at Lowellville. If you need anything, please do not hesitiate to call or email me.

Education and Professional Experience

This is my 5th year at the district, but my first as a school counselor. Previously, I taught Lowellville's 7th and 8th grade Language Arts and High School elective courses for four years. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from John Carroll University. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Youngstown State.  My teaching certification is for Adolescents/Young Adults in Integrated Language Arts for grades 7-12.  Recently, I completed my Master's degree in School Counseling from Westminster and am a certified School Counselor in both Ohio and Pennsylvania.

My husband, E.J., and I have one daughter, Anna, and another baby on the way! We also have a 4 year old goldendoodle named Lucy.  Two years ago, Lucy passed her initial Therapy Certification Test through Pet Partners, and last month she passed her two year retest.  I put a lot of time and effort into her training, so I am thriled! Lucy and I volunteer around the area through K9's for Compassion at nursing homes, libraries, and school events.

Most of my time is spent with my daughter, but in my free time (which is very rare these days), my husband and I enjoy going out to dinner and movies, and visiting with friends and family.
