ALL CALL:       December 7, 2021 (9:30 p.m.)

Hello.  This is Dr. Thomas with a follow-up announcement.

As a follow-up to this afternoon’s all-call, please understand that the administration and Lowellville Police immediately responded to the allegation yesterday evening and addressed the situation.  Rest assured, with the information we received yesterday evening, the awareness of the situation including communication with the parties involved, and the student not being in school, there was no imminent threat or the need to cancel school or make a late evening all-call.

Today, in collaboration with the Lowellville Police Department, the administration investigated the source of the allegation and found it to be not accurate.  Although, the investigation did uncover additional information that was addressed.  As a District, it is the responsibility to address student discipline confidentially; student discipline is not allowed by law to be discussed publicly or communicated by the school.  Respectively, if the situation would have warranted a cancellation of school, we would have hedged on the side of safety first.

The Lowellville District puts student and staff safety at the top of its priority list, does not tolerate threats, and administers discipline based upon District policy.

Again, thank you for your diligence to report suspicious behavior in an effort to keep everyone safe.

Lastly,  a message from PTO- Due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding shipping delays of the Mumster pots to Foertmeyer and Sons, we were informed this weekend that the following changes must be made to our mum fundraiser.

The #14 Frankemum is not available for sale.  All other Mumster mums are now only available in the online store.  You can shop the online store by following the directions given on the paper packet with your child’s unique online shopping code which will be distributed early this week.  If you are unable to shop online and would like a PTO volunteer to place the online order for you, we strongly encourage you to submit your paper order forms by the end of the week, as the quantities of these products are limited.  Paper order forms with Mumster orders on them submitted cannot be guaranteed now due to the limited quantities.

All other products on the order form, including the pumpkin pots and mums without decorative pots can be purchased using the paper form like normal.

We will be sending home a flyer explaining the change early this week.  This change is out of our control and we apologize for the inconvenience.  Thank you for your support and understanding as we work through these unforeseen changes.
