The state of Ohio is transitioning to a new form of assessment for the 2015-2016 school year. The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) is collaborating with the American Institutes for Research (AIR) for science, social studes, math and English language arts (ELA) assessments. Please refer to the state test fact sheet on details regarding student assessments as there are some changes. These changes include the previous Grade 3 OAA and OGT. Grade 3 students will no longer take the OAA Reading assessment. It will now be replaced with the ELA assessment. The OGT is no longer administered due to updates in graduation requirements. The OGT will be administed to students who are graduating in 2016 or 2017 who have not passed the assessment. A link to the new graduation requirements is also posted below. Student practice tests and additional information about the assessments will be posted once the information is released.
