U.S. History (Grade 8) Credit 1 Semester 2
Eighth grade students will study the United States from 1492 to 1877. Using historical evidence such as primary documents, geography, vocabulary, and cause effect students will comprehend the big ideas that shaped the United States including Early Explorers, Colonial Expansion, British Control, the American Revolution, and the Reconstruction Era. ______________________________________________________________________________
