Red Ribbon Week

 This month, Red Ribbon Week will be held from Monday, October 29th - Friday, November 2nd. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to focus on drug and alcohol prevention, and to encourage students to make good choices.

 

The lessons for Red Ribbon Week are as follows:

• K-2 lessons will focus on making good decisions.

• 3-4 lessons will be on peer pressure and making good decisions despite peer pressure.

• 5-6 lessons will focus on staying away from drugs/alcohol, awareness, and prevention.

All lesson activities will be age appropriate.

 

Below is a list of the days and dress down themes for Red Ribbon Week. 

Monday, October 29th

United we stand against bad decisions.

Wear red, white, and blue.

 

Tuesday, October 30th

Your choices are the key to your dreams.

Pajama Day  

 

Wednesday, October 31st

Bad choices are SPOOKY!

Wear orange & black or Halloween shirts.

 

Thursday, November 1st

We’re too bright for bad choices!

Wear sunglasses/neon shirts.

 

Friday, November 2nd

Making good decisions is no sweat!

Wear sweats and Lowellville Rocket shirts.

 

**Students may wear jeans all throughout the week. They do not need to wear school bottoms. If a student does not have the attire for that day, they may wear jeans and their normal polo shirt.
