Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I hope everyone had a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer. As we prepare to welcome our students back, there is a great sense of excitement throughout our campus.
This year, we are pleased to welcome several new members to our staff who will bring fresh ideas, enthusiasm, and dedication to our schools. We are excited for them to become part of the Lowellville family and know they will make a positive impact on our students.
Throughout the summer, our teams worked diligently to complete several improvement projects across our campus. The gymnasium floors have been completely sanded, refinished, and repainted, and they look outstanding. We also added fresh paint throughout our buildings, bringing new color and energy to our school while creating an inviting environment for students, staff, and visitors.
These improvements reflect our commitment to providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where every student can succeed. I would like to thank our staff and everyone who contributed their time and effort to preparing our buildings for another successful school year.
As we begin this new year together, I encourage all of our students to work hard, get involved, and take advantage of the many opportunities Lowellville Local Schools has to offer. By working together we will continue to build on our tradition of excellence and make this a memorable year for everyone.
On behalf of the Lowellville Local School District, welcome back! We look forward to seeing everyone soon and wish you a successful and rewarding 2026-2027 school year.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Christine Sawicki

Dear Lowellville Families,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year at Lowellville Schools! I hope you had a restful and enjoyable summer. We’re excited to kick off another year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.
This year, we’re continuing our focus on strong academics across all grade levels, helping students develop the skills and knowledge they need for their next steps—whether that’s college, career, or other goals after graduation.
Attendance will also be a key focus, as consistent attendance is essential for student success. We’ll work closely with families to support regular attendance and ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
As we begin this new school year, my door is always open. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas. Let’s make this year our best one yet!
I am excited and grateful to continue serving as an assistant principal at Lowellville Local
Schools. We are fortunate to be part of a great school district with excellent teachers, dedicated
staff, supportive families, and amazing students who make Lowellville such a special place.
My core vision is simple: to provide educational opportunities for every student to learn, grow,
and reach their full potential. I believe every student deserves to feel supported, challenged, and
encouraged to succeed, and I look forward to working with our staff and families to make that
happen each day.
As we begin a new school year, let’s continue to live out the values of Rockets RISE—Respectful, Inclusive, Safe, and Engaged—every day. These values help create a
school community where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to succeed.
I look forward to another great year of learning, growing, celebrating successes, and making a
difference in the lives of our students.
Thank you for your continued support of our schools and our students.
Go Rockets!
Best,
Jeff Hammond
